Zhang Shao Han's concert
I woke up early in the morning for my much needed dental checkup. I had a really intensive scaling to clean up all the tartar buildup on my teeth that was last checked by a dentist since primary school!
It was undoubtedly the most painful visit to the dentist I've ever experienced. She used some sort of metal spike drill to drill out all the tartar underneath my gums! She dug in between my teeth and drilled out all the tartar and plaque build-up, I spat blood like there was no tomorrow.
I kept spitting out mouthfuls of blood and felt horrible. Even the dentist's face-mask had splotches of blood on it, and even with the bib I had blood splats on the front of my shirt as well. The cleanup was pure daylight robbery. But I paid it anyway. Humph. I'd rather endure 100 black-belt kicks than another session with the dentist again.
I went out reluctantly, but the throbbing in my mouth made me want to go do something other than eat, turns out that friend's friend of mine and his friend were going to catch Zhang Shao Han in concert! So I joined them. We went to St James Power station, Dragonfly to watch Zhang Shao Han live!
It was a Zhang Shao Han Mini-concert and free entry provided u had the coupon that comes with the Cd purchased. She was promoting her new album "Meng Li Hua". There wasn't a particularly very long queue, but that didn't bother the fans who braved the rain to get into the club. Wei Bing from Y.e.s933 was the host for the event! It's really different to hear your resident DJ in person rather than over the radio! She sounds even better in person, but was dressed very simply for the occasion, unlike Angela Zhang, who was in a very nice flowing white dress.
She sang several songs including, "梦里花", "给你给我" and one of my favourite, "C大调". =) It was very nice! I enjoyed her show thoroughly and it was amusing to see trembling and fumbling fans when they were personally asked by her to come up on stage, i am sure at any other times they'd have no problem singing her songs in a K-box, but on stage they were just tougue-tied and tripping over their own legs haha! All in all, it was a nice mini-concert to see Angela Live singing...
It ended at about 6.30pm and I had dinner with some of my friends before heading home.
