The dawn of the weekend signifies that we have finally finished our SUMMEX! It's the end of all the tough physical activities that we've been subjected to, and now that we've finished our Summary Exercise, Commissioning feels all the more closer.
Whilst you were all at home probably chatting on the computer, pouring over notes or textbooks in a nice warm house with a warm drink and proper lighting while the thunderstorm raged outside during Wednesday and Thursday. I was out there, braving the storm, I spent those days and nights, somewhere in Singapore huddled under the unrelenting frigid thunderstorm shivering in my armored vehicle for the exercise. I squelched in wet mud with water soaking into my boots, and ate muck-paste combat rations outfield. All to protect the skies of our nation from hostile aircraft and to protect the sovereignty of our nation. It's because of us that's the reason why Singapore sleeps peacefully.
